Last Saturday, Hoang Cau football pitch witnessed another promising performance from our club selection team against a strong opponent – Swinburne Football Club. This friendly match-up recorded a thrilling 4-4 scoreline, with a brilliant showing from Duy Anh and Hong Dang. Our midfield held their own through touch-and-play orchestrated by Phu Cuong, Thanh Quang and Minh Duc. 👋

We would like to thank Swinburne FC for participating in this match and hopefully there will be lots of healthy competition between the two teams.

On the previous Saturday, our club selection team had the opportunity to partake in VinUni Green Sports Day. All 15 players displayed resilience, skill and motivation to achieve a winning outcome over the course of two matches, but ultimately fell short, finishing fourth. Defeats against VinUni FC and Swinburne FC prevented our team from furthering our winning streak in this tournament, having won the last two iterations of it.

If there’s one key takeaway from this experience, that would be to stick together and make sure the team is best prepared for upcoming competitions. It is undoubtedly that this group of players possesses potential, and this time acts as a cornerstone for players to garner experience. We will be back stronger!
