The Vietnamese flag has been cleverly incorporated into the shield to celebrate the fact we are fortunate enough to be playing cricket in Vietnam. Over the years, we have become increasingly competitive. After a difficult first couple of seasons, UCC have reached the grand final twice in the last 3 years, losing to SSC (2012) and SACC (2014) respectively. Win, lose or tie, we enjoy every run, catch and wicket and try to uphold the sportsmanship which is associated with our great game. Our first captain was Jie Van Berkel (Aus) who won the league's best batsman/bowler award in UCC's first year. Since then, Asif Ali (Ind), Guy Dormer (NZ), who won VCA player of the year in 2010, and Vijesh MV (Ind) have all had the privilege of leading UCC and shaping us into the spirited and competitive team we are today. UCC welcomes everyone to become part of our cricketing family and we look forward to seeing you at the ground in the future and we hope you enjoy our chant:
