The lead instructor for LLUSA is Andyconda black belt Aurelio DeLaRosa, who is ranked by Professor Andreas Schmitz and Professor Ty Pilgrim. Professor Andreas Schmitz is ranked under Daniel D' Dane who is ranked under Professor Eugenio Tadu.

Professor Daniel D' Dane was the first Luta Livre Professor to bring Luta Livre to Europe and in conjuction with Professor Andreas Schmitz founded ELLO, European Luta Livre Organization. Upon his return to Brazil, he and Professor Roberto Leitao founded the Rio De Janeiro Luta Livre Association Federation in 1985. Professor Daniel D' Dane served as the first president of the Federation.

" My name is Aurelio De La Rosa. I am a decorated combat Army Veteran of 8 years assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. I am also a retired law enforcement officer having started in 1991 and recently retired April 2022. I also serve as a member of the executive board for the Police Benevolent and Protective Association Unit 6, serving as the association President. I also serve as a Police Commissioner appointed by Governor B Rauner.
In 2010 I earned "The Latino of Distinction Award" from La Voz Latina Agency, 2011 I received the Hispanic "Father of the Year Award" from the Ethnic Heritage Museum, 2011 I received the Officer Brian Jackson Award for “Courage Under Fire” from the Warrior SOS Foundation, 2012 received Patriot Award from the Oscar Mike Foundation, 2015 Certificate of Appreciation from NWTF - Women in the Outdoor, 2016 I received an Exceptional Service Medal from the Rockford Police Department, 2016 Certificate of Recognition from The Winnebago County Well Armed Woman Chapter.
In my Law Enforcement career i worked as a fulltime trainer. I also serve as the Chairman for a Peer to Peer Support Unit, a 23 year assignment to the SWAT Team as a team leader, Scout Sniper, a board member for the Use of Force Review Board. I hold a number of certified positions Master Fi****ms Instructor, Control Tactics/ Defense Tactics Instructor/ Ground fighting Instructor, Weapons Armorer (AR15, G***k, Smith & Wesson, Re*****on), Taser Instructor, Less Lethal Instructor (ASP, OC, Bean Bag), Active Shooter Instructor, Procedural Justice Instructor, Verbal Judo Instructor, Cultural Diversity Instructor, and SWAT Instructor.
I have received several awards to include: the Expert Infantryman's Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, Airborne Qualification, Army Good Conduct Award, Army Commendation Award, Purple Heart among other distinctive awards.

I am also the founder of The DeLaRosa Submission Wrestling Academy with a focus on Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Luta Livre, Muay Thai, and Boxing. We have been around since 2008. And now I am the Lead Instructor for Luta Livre USA with 12 Luta Livre Schools in our Association. I competed in NHB/ vale tudo/mma, and Grappling tournaments.

I am an Andyconda Black Belt Belt and RFT Black Belt Ty Pilgrim. I am also a Sambo Student under Gregg Humphreys. I am a Black Belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu under Brad Inman. I hold Instructor certifications in Kali, Kettlebell, and Bulgarian Bag."
