Welcome to RMIT Judo Club, a dynamic and inclusive community for anyone interested in the art and discipline of judo. Our club is designed to foster both beginners and seasoned practitioners, creating an environment where everyone can grow in skill, strength, and confidence.



Judo is a modern martial art, focusing on principles of balance, leverage, and control. Judo is known for its throws, ground grappling, and joint-locking techniques, allowing practitioners to subdue opponents with both strength and skill. Rooted in the concept of “maximum efficiency, minimum effort,” judo teaches participants to use an opponent’s energy to their advantage.



Training at RMIT Judo Club provides a structured curriculum that allows students to progress through different ranks, from novice white belts to advanced black belts. For example, beginners start with foundational techniques that focus on break-falls (ukemi) and basic throws, ensuring they develop balance and confidence on the mat. Intermediate and advanced students dive deeper into combinations, counters, and advanced ground techniques



RMIT Judo Club will provide members chances to test their skills against others by participating in regional, national, and even international tournaments. Our Coaches come from Vietnam Judo National Team offer specialised training to improve tournament techniques, strategic skills, and mental preparedness.



Beyond regular practice, we also hold club events, social gatherings, and workshops to help members connect and build lasting friendships. Judo is a sport rooted in respect, and we uphold this tradition by maintaining an environment where every member, regardless of experience, is valued and encouraged.

Master Kano’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who practice Judo with humility, respect, and unwavering dedication. As we reflect on his life, let us carry forward his spirit, embracing his lessons in our actions, our relationships, and our journey toward self-improvement.

🔥During Week 11, to accommodate the Career Fair, practice sessions will only be held on Monday and Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Be sure to plan accordingly to maintain a balance with your training schedule.

🤩Vậy là 2 buổi Induction Day của chúng mình đã tới hồi kết rồi! 🎉Trong sự kiện này, core team của Judo Club đã lần đầu gặp gỡ, giao lưu với các bạn tham dự và chúng mình cùng nhau hiểu thêm về bộ môn này qua các buổi thực hành thú vị. Bên cạnh đó, sự góp mặt của vị huấn luyện viên khách mời đầy kinh nghiệm cũng đã mang đến cho chúng mình những bài học quý giá. Các bạn đã sở hữu cho riêng mình bộ GI chưa? Và tin vui cho bất cứ ai quan tâm tới Judo, tất cả mọi người sẽ có 2 buổi tập thử miễn phí với coach của club, nên đừng ngần ngại mà hãy tham gia cùng chúng mình nha! 🔥🔥🔥
