The ancient Toltecs said that the greatest sin is self-rejection.
Every time you act against what you truly need or feelâŚ
you move away from yourself.
Thatâs how resentment grows.
And resentment doesnât just stay quiet. It leaks into...
âś Your tone of voice
âś Your intimate connections
âś Your physcial & mental health
âś Your energy
It erodes the relationships you care about most.
So what do you do when resentment shows up?
Pause, locate where the resentment lives in your body
Spend a minute with the sensations that are present and ask it:
âś What do I actually want & need right now?
âś Do I feel safe to give myself/ask for what I want & need?
The first question allows you to see a new pathway
It letâs you see that something simple could make you feel better; it provides clarity for communicating your needs
The second question allows you to understand your beliefs
If advocating for yourself feels scary, uncomftable, or off limits.. this is something you get to look into and heal â in yourself or your relationship.
This is where Body Awareness comes in as a practice of:
đš listening to your bodyâs signs instead of overriding them
đš letting your body guide your choices, boundaries and way of expression
đš learning to respond to life from alignment rather than obligation
When you do this, resentment no longer has to build
Because youâre no longer abandoning yourself in the first place â¨

And talk therapy, while helpful, doesnât always help you to release those old layers from the body â where they live.
This is where Body Awareness comes in.

If you canât take a 10-minute break without guilt? đ
Thereâs a reason.
If you constantly scan the room to make sure everyone else is okay while ignoring your own needs?đ
Thereâs a reason.
If slowing down makes your body tense instead of soften?đ
Thereâs a reason.
Those reasons live in your BODY â not your to-do list, not your mindset, not your calendar.
Once you explore the origins of that guilt, that hyper-vigilance, that âkeep goingâ programmingâŚ
you âstop doing mental gymnastics.
You âstop negotiating with yourself.
You âstop living in autopilot or headless-chicken mode.
Because trauma-informed body work gets to the ROOT.
It unhooks the guilt, the shame, the old survival patterns that push you into overdrive.
When youâre constantly distracting yourself, youâre doing everything you can to avoid feeling whatâs underneath:
the hurt, the pressure, the fear of letting someone down.
But when you gently turn toward those emotions and process them through the body
thatâs when freedom begins đď¸
My clients describe it like:
⨠Feeling reborn, as if theyâve opened a spacious, glowing part of themselves
⨠Healing relationships because they can set body-led boundaries from a grounded place
⨠Feeling creativity return â painting, writing, expressing again

The biggest misconception of all time is that your changing mood is inherently BAD.
Nope.
Wrong.
We are MEANT to experience these changes for our OWN good!
We are MEANT to honor the waves of LOVE and CRITICISM.

What fires it up?
What makes you speak out?
What allows you to stay soft?
Nature breaths harmony.
