YOW COXOS 31″ POWER SURFING SERIES

The Coxos 31” is one of our top 3 best-sellers due to its versatility and beautiful fish tail design inspired by the fish surfboards. It features a design on the top and bottom imitating a surfboard resin artwork. Shaped with a wide nose for a better control over the turns, the midlength wheelbase (18”) gives you more stability, while still allowing you to perform very tight turns. It is built with a medium concave that gives enough grip to hold your feet in place and the Meraki (S5) system combined with the 66x51mm 82A (hard) wheels will help you gain control during your slides.

Designed by Jamie himself, the Jamie O’Brien Pro model is built for those looking to progress to advanced levels. Jamie’s deck is designed to be small and compact, giving a “loose” feel. Jamie’s board is good for 360° slides and quick snappy maneuvers.

The Jamie O’Brien Pro Model is mounted with the latest 2022 Version of the SwellTech Trucks which have high strength Swivel Springs. The updated trucks allow the front axle to rotate smoother when performing a deep carve and also greatly improve the life span of the springs. The SwellTech system is the only truck on the market allowing the axle to rotate by 360° degrees with a second set of feathers to pivot by 60°.

Surfskate Tip #1: Get the proper foot positioning.

On a skateboard or longboard, your feet often change position on the board. And when you cruise, your front foot is typically facing more forward than the other, and your hips are turned forward as well.
On a surfskate, your feet pretty much stay stationary. Furthermore, you want both feet to be facing perpendicular to your direction of travel.
Your front foot should sit just behind the front surfskate truck, and your back foot should rest either right on the back truck, or just behind it in the pocket between the truck bolts and the beginning curve of the tail.
