📌Position: Growth Union Development Officer

📜About the Role

Are you passionate about growing rugby union and building sustainable sports programs? The Vanuatu Rugby Football Union (‘VRFU’) is seeking a Growth Union Development Officer to lead the transformation from a volunteer-driven organisation into a professionally managed union. This pivotal role will strengthen operational capacity, develop sustainable funding streams, and implement governance systems that enable recruitment and retention of paid personnel.

You will also support other emerging rugby unions across Oceania facing similar challenges, working closely with the Sport for Development Program Officer and Media & Communications Officer to build strategic partnerships and unlock commercial opportunities for long-term sustainability.

📚Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Sports Management or equivalent is desirable.
• Minimum 3 years experience in rugby development.
• World Rugby Educator or Trainer accreditation is advantageous.

📌Location: Vanuatu (with regional support across Oceania)
⏳Term: 1 year and 11 months commencing 16 February 2026 to 14 January 2028
💵 Salary: Vt3,978,500 per annum (including VNPF) – with possible additional employment benefits
