Riki graduated from Tokai University, a university renowned for its outstanding history and achievements in judo. His experience and passion will be a valuable inspiration for our judokas and community.
Riki will join the training next month.
The Judo Federation sincerely appreciates the support and coordination of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for making this program possible.

A very meaningful and successful trip to the Oceania Championships.
Behind every match, there are countless hours of sacrifice, discipline, and determination. Our athletes gave their all β managing weight, handling pressure, and pushing themselves every day to be ready.
But none of this is done alone. This journey is built on strong teamwork β the support of teachers, dojo friends, parents, and staff who stand behind them at every step.
On the day of competition, it becomes a true duel. Just 4 minutes to give everything β courage, technique, speed, reaction β and at the same time, the strength to stay calm and focused under pressure. Control the moment.
We are deeply proud to witness the efforts, the growth, and the fighting spirit of all our athletes.
This trip means so much for our Federation. It is another step forward, another step closer to our future.
A heartfelt thank you again to all our sponsors for making this journey possible.

Vanuatu Judo Federation is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our athlete Priscillia Monthouel, who secured a Bronze Medal in the Junior Category (-52kg) at the Oceania Championships.
In the bronze medal contest, Priscillia delivered an excellent performance, defeating her New Zealand opponent with a beautiful Uchi Mata Sukashi in 1 minute 26 seconds.
With this result, she now reaches an impressive 28th place in the Junior World Ranking, marking a significant milestone for both her and Vanuatu judo.
This success reflects her dedication, discipline, and the strong potential of our athletes. The future of Vanuatu judo continues to grow brighter.
Congratulations Priscillia! ππ₯

On December 9th, Vanuatu Judo Federation held a Rescue & Transport training class with the help of JICA volunteers Mr. Kei Hoshiba (MoET) and Mr. Kisuke Miyano (NDMO).
The aim was to learn basic rescue knowledge and practical transport skills using everyday household items.
It was great to see many Federation Judokas participate with such positive attitudes. In real emergency situations, not only at Judo training, these skills can help them support their families, friends, and communities.
A big THANK YOU once again to JICA, Kei, and Kisuke for making this training possible.
