The VRL has negotiated a short term agreement with Vanuatu Weightlifting Federation for the release of their premiere mens athlete, Thomas Wilbur to make his return to the rugby league field.

Wilbur will link up with RAV teammates, Adam Tumukon amd Keane Williams at Tanvasoko RLC for an undisclosed term but is expected to play this week in Round 3 of the X9's Pre Szn Club Challenge.

VWF President, Simone Pritchard said "I'm happy to let him play on one condition, he has to run it straight!"

Thank you to all the U16s who joined us for this very short season and took part in the Digicel Youth Cup in October.

Having just returned from Solomons 2023 Pacific Games, RAV coaches are super excited about who from our current stables of U16s/ U18s players will be pushing for selection for Tahiti2027 Pacific Games in rugby 7s for mens/ womens 🤔

Special shout out to Damian Smith for stepping in and covering the stables 🐎🐎

16 selected from 50 who will march on to the brand new Honiara sports stadium and etch themselves into Vanuatu Rugby League history as the first ever womens VRL team at any level 📚
