🌍 June 5 | World Environment Day 🌱

Yesterday, to mark World Environment Day, Phoenix Netball Club proudly launched our brand new initiative – “Phoenix in Action: Netballers for a Cleaner Samoa” – at the Multipurpose Gym in Tuanaimato, the proud home of Netball Samoa.

Players, supporters, and volunteers came together in true Phoenix spirit, dropping off collected recyclables and participating in a cleanup around the netball complex. 💪🏽♻️

This 6-month campaign represents more than just a cleanup effort – it's a powerful commitment to sustainability, environmental education, and community engagement. It also kicks off our internal club recycling competition, designed to raise awareness and build long-term habits around recycling in sport and beyond.

We believe that small actions create big impact. Together, we are setting the example for a cleaner, greener Samoa – one recyclable at a time.
