We love to see our cyclists step out of their comfort zone and go further. This morning Pitapola Matuaofaiva Ioane and younger sister Fanaafi joined us for their first ever long ride to the airport and back - and they smashed it! Thank you to their dad Tuloa Aniseko Ioane for driving support vehicle.
An achievement only possible thanks to coaches Peter Peilua and Peter Sexton
for their guidance. Nice work team. It takes a village to grow Samoa cyclists!

Our Sunday morning long ride led by Coach Peter Peilua and Peter Sexton. So good to see the skill, strength and endurance of these young cyclists growing with every session. Keep it up team!

34km done! An awesome session this morning with Coach Peter Peilua. Several loops starting at 5am from Mulinuu to Vaisigano then back to the John Williams building and up to the Hospital at Motootua, then return to Mulinuu. Afterward, Coach loaded up some of the bikes and athletes giving them a ride back to Letogo.
Thank you Coach and all the parents for making training happen.

Reminder AGM on today - Calling all cyclists, plus friends and family of cyclists 😀 - we will have our AGM on (Today) Saturday 11th July. We welcome new members and old, and just any interested in finding out more about cycling in Samoa. Only registered members can vote so please pay the annual membership fee at Coffee Roaster Samoa.

Our Bike Samoa Executive Board gathered today to mourn with Wolly Collins and his family at the loss of his beloved wife Asofa Pati. Wolly Collins is a founding member of Bike Samoa, captain of our National Team, a champion cyclist, and also a coach and teacher of many of Samoa's cyclists. Our President Leniu Philipp P**a Moore, Vice President Darren Young, Secretary Nalei Paul, Exec Tupai Peter Peilua and Athlete Rep Urlin Mulitalo, along with members of the Bike Samoa family attended the service this morning. Our sincere condolences to Wolly and his aiga.
