Welcome to the home of the Christchurch Marist Women's Sevens Rugby team of the international Marist 7's tournament hosted in Samoa.
We are a diverse collective of players from rugby teams in New Zealand and Australia. This year was our first year participating in the Marist 7's tournament. We are proud to have placed 1st for the Women's competition and are excited to return to Samoa next year for the 2020 tournament.
The purpose of our tour to Samoa was not only to participate in the Marist 7s tournament, but to also give back to our people by delivering coaching clinics for schools. Our focus was to also inspire and engage the community of Tamaitaโi Samoa through rugby.
We were very grateful to have had the support of our sponsors. Thank you Platinum Lounge, Supakako, GMANA Wholesale Autos, Explore Property, Kathmandu, and Niu Era Ministry.
