🇼🇸❤️🖤 FROM SAMOA TO THE WORLD 🌏⚽

What a journey! 🇦🇿✨

Our Samoa U-15 team proudly finished 166th out of 189 nations at the inaugural FIFA Youth World Cup & Festival in Azerbaijan, ranking 4th among OFC nations, behind only New Caledonia, Tahiti, and New Zealand. 🙌🇼🇸

But this campaign was about much more than rankings. It was about representing our nation with pride, competing against the world's best young talents, building lifelong friendships, and gaining experiences that will help shape the future of Samoan football. 💙⚽

A special celebration for Lepea FC's own Eliahs Hazelman-Siona and Tuimareko Desmond Edward, who proudly wore the Samoa jersey on the world stage. Your journey from the fields of Lepea to an international tournament is proof that hard work, dedication, and belief can take you anywhere. 🌟

You have made your families, your club, your community, and your country proud. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both and for this talented Samoa U-15 team.

🇼🇸 Samoa U15 Boys National Team Update

Our Samoa U15 Boys National Team continues to gain invaluable international experience at the FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan 🇦🇿. After the first five matches in their pool, Samoa is currently placed in Tier F (161st-189th), alongside 28 other participating nations. 👏🏽

This tournament provides a fantastic development pathway for our young players as they compete, learn, and proudly represent Samoa on the world stage.

🇼🇸❤️ That’s a wrap for our Samoa U15 Development Team campaign.

What a journey it has been.

For our boys, this was about so much more than football. It was about creating memories, building lifelong friendships, growing in confidence, and proudly representing Samoa. From the warm welcome at Ngāhue Reserve, to learning from Auckland FC stars during Education Night, and competing across five match days, every experience helped shape them both on and off the field.

A unique part of the tournament saw every match end with a penalty shootout, giving many of our boys their very first taste of the pressure, excitement, and courage it takes to step up and take a penalty.

We were proud to see our players connect with other young footballers from across Oceania, embrace new experiences, and wear the Samoa badge with pride. A special mention to our own Tuimareko Edward, who scored two goals during the tournament⚽🇼🇸

While the campaign has come to an end, the lessons learned, friendships made, and memories created will stay with these boys forever. This tournament reminded us that football is not just about results, but about developing young people, inspiring dreams, and creating opportunities for the next generation.

To our boys, thank you for your commitment, humility, and passion. You have made your families, communities, and Samoa proud.

And to the young boys and girls watching from home, dreaming of wearing the blue jersey one day, keep believing and keep working hard. Your journey starts now, and one day it could be you representing Samoa on the international stage.
