Grand Slam Player Development Program โ Supporting Pacific Oceania Juniors
The Grand Slam Player Development (GSPDP) Program is currently supporting 18 junior players from Pacific Oceania to compete at the Australian Junior Championships held in the Gold Coast.
The delegation includes 11/u and 13/u teams, each comprising 3 boys and 3 girls, along with six coaches, three male and three female. These teams have recently concluded their events and returned home, while the 15/u team is now actively competing.
Players represent nine nations across the Pacific: American Samoa, Fiji, Guam, New Caledonia, Northern Marianas, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tahiti, and Vanuatu. The coaching team brings together expertise from six different countries: Fiji, Guam, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu.
This initiative is a significant step in supporting the development of junior players from Pacific Oceania through international exposure and competition.
