We’ve been taking advantage of a little downtime around the shop to get things ready for the fast-approaching deer season! 🌲🏹

We apologize for the lack of fishing content lately. As the temperatures start dropping and fall gets closer, we tend to shift a little more of our time from the water to the woods. 🎣➡️🦌

Don’t worry though—Fire Flies isn’t slowing down. We’re still filling orders, working around the shop, and getting ready for one of our favorite times of the year.

Some colors come and go… this one just keeps catching fish. 🎣

Our GP Black Flake has quickly become one of those tried & true colors you can always count on. Simple, natural, and proven — there’s a reason we stay pouring so much of it around here. 🔥

When you don’t know what to throw, trust the GP Black Flake. 🤝

🔥 Always a good sign when ALL the curing racks are FULL! 🔥

The shop has been putting in some WORK lately. From top to bottom, these racks are loaded up with fresh Backwoods baits curing and getting ready to head out the door. 🎣

Nothing better than walking into the shop and seeing every bit of rack space being put to use. We appreciate every single order that keeps us pouring! 🤝🔥

🔥 SWEETGUM MADNESS. 🔥

Our BIGGEST Sweetgum order yet is coming together, and the shop has been absolutely covered up in tentacles! 😂🎣

And of course, the majority of this batch had to be the good ole trusty GP Black Flake. 🟢⚫️ There’s just something about that color that flat-out looks right on a Sweetgum.

We also mixed things up a little for this order:
🧂 GP Black Flake-S (Salted)
🧪 A few extras made with a new plastisol blend we’re testing
🎁 Plus some extra GP Black Flake thrown in!

Those test baits are headed out so we can get some real-time, on-the-water feedback before deciding what comes next with the new blend. 👀

Big orders, testing new ideas, and constantly trying to make the Backwoods lineup better—that’s what goes on behind the scenes at Fire Flies Tackle Co.

The first order of Backwoods Swimmers in Power Line Shad is bagged up and ready to go! 🎣⚡️

We might be a little biased, but Power Line Shad is BY FAR one of the best colors we offer. That two-tone combo paired with the action of the Swimmer just looks DEADLY. 👀🔥

Seeing these lined up in the bags definitely has us wanting to pour a few for ourselves. 😂

💨 LET’S CLEAR THE SMOKE… 💨

We’ve gotta own a little mistake on this one! 😅 Back in June, we shared our Smoke color with y’all—but somewhere along the way, we accidentally attached the wrong photos to the post. 🤦‍♂️

Well, we finally caught it… so THIS is Smoke! 👀🔥

A clean, smoky translucent profile loaded with flake that looks absolutely NASTY in the water. 🎣

💨 SMOKE
🌲 Available across the ENTIRE Backwoods lineup!

Sorry for the mix-up, y’all! Now that we’ve got the right pictures up… what do we think of Smoke?! 👀

We can’t get enough of this one.

From the day we poured Power Line Shad, we knew it was going to be a staple in the Fire Flies lineup. The subtle two-tone blend with a violet shimmer gives it a natural baitfish look with just enough contrast to stand out, whether you’re fishing clear water or stained conditions.

Featured here is the Backwoods Sweetgum in Power Line Shad, and we have to admit… this might be one of our favorite colors.

What bait would you throw Power Line Shad on next? 👀

🔥 Available now across the entire Backwoods lineup, including the Sweetgum.

🚨New Color Alert🚨

The wait is over! Introducing Power line Shad—our take on one of the most proven baitfish color patterns around.

Featuring a translucent pearl body, subtle shimmer, and a translucent Green back, Power line Shad was built to imitate the natural flash of a fleeing baitfish while still standing out enough to get crushed.

🔥 Available NOW across the entire Backwoods lineup!

While it looks incredible in every bait we offer… we’ve got to admit, our favorite has to be the Backwoods Swimmer. That combination is absolutely deadly.

🎣 Available in:
• Backwoods Swimmer
• Backwoods Trickster
• Backwoods Sneak
• Backwoods Bully
• And the rest of the Backwoods family!

Which bait would you throw Power line Shad on first?

We’ve been putting in the work behind the scenes, dialing in some brand-new colors for the Fire Flies lineup… and tomorrow, it’s finally time.

We busted out the Dual injector finally👀🔥

That’s right… our FIRST-EVER dual-color release is coming, and we couldn’t be more excited to show y’all what we’ve been cooking up.

Trust us… you’re NOT going to want to miss this one. Stay tuned tomorrow for the official reveal! 🎣
