October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀
This month is very close to my heart. My grandmother sadly passed away from breast cancer, and my mum is a survivor. Their journeys remind me just how important awareness, early detection, and support really are.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide. The good news is that survival rates have improved dramatically over the years, thanks to greater awareness, research, and early detection.
💗 The message is simple: if you find a lump, no matter how small, get it checked by your GP. Don’t wait, don’t brush it off, and don’t be afraid. Early detection saves lives.
Families and friends play such an important role—encourage your loved ones to keep up with regular checks and appointments, and remind them that looking after their health is never something to feel guilty about.
This month, let’s wear pink, share stories, and most importantly, spread the message: check, don’t ignore.
🎀 For those fighting, surviving, and remembering—we stand with you.

After flu season, it can take a while for our bodies to bounce back. Movement plays a big role in recovery – here are three simple things you can do to help your body restore strength and energy:
💨 Gentle walks – Fresh air and light walking support lung function and circulation without pushing too hard.
🧘 Mobility & stretching – Helps release stiffness, restore flexibility, and ease any body aches left over from being unwell.
🏋️ Light strength work – Even a few bodyweight exercises can rebuild muscle that may have weakened during rest.
Movement doesn’t have to be intense – the goal is to support healing, rebuild resilience, and remind your body it’s ready to thrive again. 🌿

Giving back never felt so inspiring. 💚
Spent the weekend volunteering at the Cape2Cape ultra, watching some absolutely incredible humans push through 50 and 100 miles of rugged WA coastline.
The grit, determination, and community out there was something else. Honoured to support the runners chasing big goals through this stunning part of the world. 🌊🏃♂️🏃♀️💪
Big love to the organisers, crews, and every runner who inspired us with every step. 🙌

Movement Matters — Especially After 50! 🏃♀️💪
One of the biggest benefits of staying active as we age is maintaining physical function — think muscle strength, balance, and coordination. These are the keys to staying independent and making everyday tasks like walking, carrying groceries, or climbing stairs feel easier and safer.
👉 Here are two easy ways to keep moving today:
1. Take a 10-minute walk after each meal — it helps with digestion and keeps your joints moving.
2. Try a simple balance exercise, like standing on one foot while brushing your teeth.
Every little bit counts — your future self will thank you! 💚

Some days feel amazing, others… not so much.
But it’s not about perfection — it’s about showing up.
Whether it’s a long walk, a light yoga session, or just a few minutes of mobility work, every little bit counts.
Not only will you feel better for moving your body, but you’re also building a more mobile, stronger, and better version of you.
Keep turning up — you’ve got this. 💪✨
