Millbury-Sutton Raider 12U team has been on quite a run, coming up with two upset victories on their way to the regional championship & are now on their way to Florida next week for a national championship game 🙌🏽 something our Marborough Shamrock’s family knows a thing or two about ☘️

MARLBORO - The Clinton
Irish Blizzard was officially initiated into the Eastern Football League last night when it faced off with perennial EFL powerhouse Marlboro.
The Irish Blizzard, an EFL team that had previously made its home in Maine but is now playing its inaugural season in Clinton, suffered a 24-7 loss to its Central Mass. neighbors at Kelleher Field.
Playing their first regular-season game of the season, the shamrock’s picked up where they left off last season. The hosts scored in every quarter and held a 24-0 lead late before yielding a score.
Marlboro opened the scoring with a 39-yard field goal from John Toyias in the first quarter.
The Shamrocks widened the gap on a 16-yard run by one of the team's top rushers, Frank Bianchini, to take a 10-0 lead at the half.
Rob Patten started off the second half with a bang. Patten returned the opening kickoff 85 yards and suddenly the hosts had a 17-0 lead.
The final score by the Shamrocks came on a 41-yard pass from quarterback T.J. Reeke to Darryl Thomas with less than five minutes to play in the game.
Clinton (0-2) managed a touchdown with less than two minutes remaining. Gordon Nangmenyi took the ball 37 yards into the end zone and Adam Clark kicked the extra point.
