Most people fail not because they don’t set goals…
but because they never change their identity.
You wake up one day, look in the mirror and say:
“From tomorrow I’ll get fit.”
For 2–3 days motivation is high.
Gym feels exciting.
You feel unstoppable.
Then motivation fades… and the goal disappears.
Why?
Because goals only show the destination.
They never tell you how to become the person who reaches there.
Real change starts when identity changes.
If you say “I am trying to get fit”, your habits will reflect that struggle.
But if you say “I am a fitness person” or “I am a runner”,
your daily actions start aligning with that identity.
A runner runs.
A musician practices.
A fitness person shows up.
Even on the days when motivation is zero.
So stop only chasing results.
Start becoming the type of person who naturally achieves them.
Change your identity.
Your habits will follow.

Most people can run 10K…
but get stuck when they think about a half marathon.
The truth is:
It’s not a distance problem.
It’s a mindset + time-sustainability problem.
I was the same.
My PT who helped me to achieve my half marathon goal
One day he told me:
“Run for 1 hour 30 minutes… don’t think about distance.”
That day I hit 15 KM.
Next week → 16 KM.
Next week → planned for 17…
but my body pushed me to 20 KM.
And that’s when everything changed.
I realised:
Half marathon is not about running fast.
It’s about sustaining long.
If you can run 10K,
you’re just one weekly long run away from breaking your mental barrier.
Distance grows automatically
when your mind learns to stay in the run longer.
Struggling to run even 200–300 meters without getting tired?
The problem isn’t your stamina.
It’s your pace.
If you want to run 5KM,
follow the 4-week beginner plan below 👇
WEEK 1 — Build Stamina (0.5–1 KM)
• 2 min slow jog
• 1 min walk
• Repeat × 6
Goal: Teach your body how to run without fatigue
WEEK 2 — Build Control (1–2 KM)
• 3 min slow jog
• 1 min walk
• Repeat × 5
Goal: Improve pace control
WEEK 3 — Build Flow (2–3.5 KM)
• 5 min jog
• 1 min walk
• Repeat × 4
Goal: Run longer with lower effort
WEEK 4 — Build Distance (3–5 KM)
Day 1: 8 min jog + 1 min walk × 3
Day 2: 10 min jog + 1 min walk × 2–3
Day 3 (Long Run):
15–20 min continuous slow jog
Goal: Reach 4–5 KM comfortably
Read this if you’re tired of “fat loss” goals.
January 2025 → I wasn’t in my best shape.
But I also wasn’t interested in another “before/after” story.
Around May, I made a different kind of decision:
Train like an athlete.
Not like someone trying to lose fat.
And everything changed.
I stopped chasing calories.
I started chasing performance.
I stopped counting kilos.
I started counting reps, miles, efforts.
By September → Hybrid Games
By October → HYROX + Half Marathon
Same year. Same body. New identity.
This wasn’t a weight loss journey.
It was an identity shift.
I didn’t lose fat.
I lost excuses.
I gained discipline.
I became consistent.
If you needed a sign:
Stop training to look better.
Start training to be better.
Athlete mode: ON. 🔥
Save this for days you feel like quitting.
You don’t need motivation.
You need a system.
Motivation changes every day.
Some days you feel fired up.
Some days you feel nothing.
A system is what gets you to the gym anyway:
• Fixed time
• Clothes ready
• Simple workouts
• No decisions
That’s how consistency is built.
📘 Atomic Habits says it best:
“You don’t rise to the level of your goals.
You fall to the level of your systems.”
Build the system first.
Results will follow 💪
Playing sports every day is great.
But playing sports alone won’t make you truly fit.
Sports use limited muscle groups, again and again.
Some muscles get overused.
Some stay weak.
Some never get trained.
Strength training changes that.
More trained muscles = stronger brain-muscle connection.
Stronger connection = faster reaction time.
Faster reactions = better performance in any sport.
That’s why strength training doesn’t slow you down —
it actually makes you faster, stronger, and harder to beat.
Play your sport.
But build strength to dominate it 💪
When someone says nothing should stop you to move forward in fitness. But sometimes our body structures do resist us. But if we find right solutions we can achieve it. Its similar with my knocked knees and flat feet. This insole has really helped in training for half marathons and hyrox. So if you think you have knocked knees its worth to give it a try for customised insoles and who knows next time when you are doing training its not gonna stop you. Send this to someone who really needs it.
