BE A SPONSOR - W-SR Girls Rugby Club seeks sponsors for the 2026-2027 season.

Rugby is the #1 fastest-expanding sport in the USA and we’re thriving too! Since we aren’t affiliated with W-SR Community Schools, our program is 100% driven by the generosity of our community. This season we’re searching for willing individuals and businesses to support our local athletes in their quest for excellence.

Our program is off to a great start and the stats prove it! Entering our seventh season, our club has consistently finished well at the State Tournament, being STATE CHAMPIONS the last two years! Since 2021, we have had many athletes receive state accolades with SEVEN honorable mentions, SEVEN named to the All-State Team, EIGHT chosen for the Elite Team and THREE Tournament MVPs. In the off seasons, we've had many girls play nationally & internationally, along with two being selected for the u18 USA National team.

Our program goal is to provide our athletes with the tools they need to achieve their dreams - and you can help! Our graphic below shows what your support can provide. We offer multiple tiers for any budget with various promotional and advertising options. Contact Assistant Coach Bridget Bollman (319) 269-9511 or message this page for more information. You can be an integral part of helping local Go-Hawks fly high!

Cash, Check or Venmo accepted - we can supply donation receipt for your taxes.

We are thrilled to announce that our team has been invited back to Single School Nationals in Meridian, Idaho this October! After securing an impressive 3rd-place finish last fall, the girls are ready to work harder than ever to top the podium this year.
We also want to extend a massive thank you to the Greater Waverly Kiwanis Club. Your generous donation—and the opportunity to run concessions at Cedar River Park during the June 7th tournament—means the world to us. Thank you for investing in our athletes and supporting our journey! Thanks to Kiwanis President, Adam Hoffman for delivering the donation check. Greater Waverly Kiwanis Club
