CT Raceing

CT Raceing I'm a novice race car driver. I competed at Honor speedway in Pueblo, CO in 2020. This year I plan on competing at Honor as well as I25 speedway.

I have a 1993 ford mustang for on the dirt at honor, as well as a 1979 ford pinto for on the asphalt at I25.

7pm tonight in Pueblo, then tomarrow 5pm at the county fair grounds. Busy weekend for me!

Quick update on the season so far. I'm currently 4th in points at honor speedway out of 13 drivers! Also I'm 6th overall in the state! Still got a long way to go, but I've come a long way! Wanna say thank you to everyone that's helped me out on the way. Definitely couldn't have done it without my top 2 cheerleaders my lovely wife and daughter!!

Honor Speedway returns to action next Friday night, June 11 ... the "Pueblo Cup", featuring the 1st visit in 2021 of the High Plains Late Models, along with the Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and the Sport Compacts. Racing is scheduled for 7 pm.

It is "Special Event ticket pricing" ... Adults $ 15.00; Military (w ID) $ 12.00; students (w ID) $8.00; kids 3 to 12 $ 8.00; kids under 3 are free; pit passes are $ 30.00.

Didn't end up to bad last night considering my throttle got stuck open about 3 or 4 times and spun out twice. Boy was it a wet track lol. Started first in my feature ended 3rd out of 6, then ended up 6th overall in a 20 lap main. Can't complain really for only having under 10 races under my belt. Plus a hand full of these cars are way faster then mine lol

Just a update on whats been going on. Last weekend I ended up not raceing due to the mustang deciding not to work all of a sudden. Spent the entire race wrenching on it trying to fiqure out what happend. Still can't. Yesterday went out with the pinto. Due to the rules I had to start at the end of every race. Started strong in my heat but due to not knowing the car and trying different things, I finished where I started. Started the feature race at the back again, got a little more comfortable and ended up passing 2 cars finishing 8th out of 10. Cars still running and in one piece so overall I think it was win for me. Lol on to next weekend!
