Antwerp Roller Derby started as One Love Roller Dolls in 2010. We are a WFTDA affiliated league with two ranked teams and aim to be a safe space for everyone.

Antwerp Roller Derby is the first and only roller derby team in Antwerp. We were founded as One Love Roller Dolls in February 2010, and continue to grow every day with new recruits. We have two teams that are ranked in the WFTDA, the governing body for women's amateur flat track roller derby. As an affiliate of the WFTDA, ARD joins the ranks of more than 400 skater-owned-and-operated leagues worldwide that have united to lead the growing sport of women's flat track roller derby. Want to join one of the fastest growing sports in the world? We’re looking for women+ who are eager for the opportunity to train, compete and win alongside some of the Antwerp area’s most intriguing athletes. We welcome all new players, we'll teach you how to skate and how to play roller derby. If you are prepared to hit hard, skate fast and are over 16, we want to hear from you. We have tryouts in September for our fresh meat training program. If you're interested in this fast paced, full contact sport on wheels, and in becoming a roller derby athlete, drop us a line at [email protected]. Wanna lay down the law? Calling all roller derby people with ties to Yugoslavia! 🛼❤️

One of our players (Max Flow) is growing a community to connect skaters, officials, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and friends of roller derby from across Yugoslavia and diaspora. But this can only happen with your help!

The goal? To bring people together, share ideas, support existing leagues, and explore what we could achieve as a community. Whether that's working toward a future European Cup or World Cup team, helping roller derby become more visible in the region, or simply creating a space where people can stay connected, everyone is welcome.

If you have ties to Yugoslavia, know people who do, or would like to support the project, we'd love to have you join the conversation. Or if this does not apply to you, but you’re still reading and enthusiastic, please share with your friends/family/league.
