Our final core committee member is Cassidy, who is our PRO! She is currently a postgrad studying in the MA Composition and Creative Music Practice programme! PRO entails running the social media, documenting social events, fundraisers, or any other events hosted by the club as well as advertising events when they come up! Her fun fact is that she’s had the opportunity to perform in New York City twice! Once for band, and once for choir!

Today we are featuring our current secretary, Conor! He’s a UL alum where he studied history and sociology. His favourite thing about fencing is how passionate the community is surrounding the sport. His job as secretary entails keeping track of club communications, organising meetings, and keeping a list of tasks that need to be done as well as any other miscellaneous things he’s asked to do. Conor’s fun fact is that he’s eaten the hottest pepper known to man, Pepper X.

Next up we have our current treasurer, Jonathan! He is a second year studying in the Bachelor of Science, Psychology programme! His role on our core committee is to manage incoming and outgoing funds for the club. His favourite thing about fencing is the swords. Jonathan’s fun fact is that he likes D&D stuff!

It was a great night for some of our members at the clubs and societies ball!
Don’t forget to join us for karaoke on Monday 24th March!

Next up we have our current Captain, Jack! He is a second year studying Cybersecurity and IT forensics. His favourite thing about fencing is how cool and unique it is while also being able to swing the sabre around while in a match! His responsibility as captain is to ensure the other committee members have everything they need for their responsibilities and if not it’s up to him to ensure they do. He’s also responsible for keeping in contact with other clubs around the country and to ensure all our members are enjoying their time on the team. Jack’s fun fact about himself is that he’s had the same grades every semester so far.
