Based out of Laie Hawaii My name is Asai Gilman.

I provide an educational 1-to-1 training for families that have student athletes who desire to get on the college recruiting radar. Programs are available to address athletic recruiting coaching strategies and a development of a MAAP to be included in a comprehensive "College Recruiting Game Plan". With over 30 years of college, career and athletic experience, let me help you with a simplified plan that will give you an opportunity to get on the radar with the intent to qualify for a scholarship and for financial aid.

Iron sharpens iron.

Years ago I started running Iron Sharpens Iron camps because I believed athletes develop faster when they train against real competition. When DBs and WRs push each other every rep, technique sharpens, awareness grows, and athletes elevate their game.

I’ve always been a development coach. That’s what matters most to me.

Now we have a team of development coaches who share the same vision — helping athletes grow, compete, and sharpen their skills together.

Today my son Alohi signed his third contract.

As a coach and as a father, moments like this always make me stop and reflect on the journey.

I remember when he was just a kid writing down his goals and dreams. Watching him put in the work year after year to chase those dreams has been something special to witness.

From zero offers to signing his third contract, it’s been a journey of faith, perseverance, and believing in who he is.

More than the football player he’s become, I’m proud of the man, leader, and child of God he continues to grow into.

Football gives us incredible moments, but the lessons, character, and faith built along the way are what truly matter.

Congratulations son. Proud of you always.
