Surgery Update + Rucking Comeback 💪
A little life update — the past few weeks have been a mix of slowing down, healing up, and learning patience (which is honestly harder than the workouts 😅).
Surgery went well, and I’m grateful for a smooth recovery so far. There were days I felt strong… and days just getting comfortable was the win. Healing really humbles you — you realize how much you take simple movement for granted until it’s taken away for a bit.
But here’s the exciting part… I’m officially back to rucking — slowly, carefully, and listening to my body every step of the way. The pace is lighter, the miles are shorter, but the mindset is stronger. This isn’t about speed right now — it’s about rebuilding.
Every step feels earned.
Every mile feels like progress.
And honestly, it feels really good to be outside moving again.
If you’re recovering from something — injury, surgery, life — just know progress doesn’t have to be dramatic to be meaningful. Small wins count. Consistency counts. Showing up counts.
Here’s to healing, fresh air, and getting a little stronger each day.
