I am writing to you today not as influencer or a businessman; but as a mother, as a woman, and as a proud patriot of these United States...or at least, we used to be united. Now I'm not quite sure where we stand. There is much talk around the reversal of Roe v.s Wade and as much as it breaks my heart and enrages me to the point of tears, it is not about what everyone is thinking it is about....

Best. Plant based. Meal. Ever.
This is a simple, easy to make meal to eat post workout, for dinner, lunch, or any other time of the day really. I like it for summer especially because there’s no cooking involved.
Ingredients:
• Costco’s pre-made quinoa salad as the base.
• 1Tbsp. H**p hearts
• handful of crushed cashews
• handful of arugula
• 2 hard boiled eggs with salt and pepper.
You’re welcome.

Well, I didn’t reach my goal of 72 hours. BUT more importantly I listened to my body and it’s needs, so 61 hours is still a great fast with immense health benefits so I’m grateful for the chance to do this and sink a little deeper into myself during the process. Next time, I’ll shoot for 72 hours again, next time. Check out my stories to see what meal I ate to break my fast as that first meal is imperative for rejuvenation.

Happy Monday! After watching all these documentaries on the health of our planet due to the way we consume and excessively eat meat I’ve made the commitment to go plant based with the exception of eggs, some dairy, and occasionally bacon.
Before you scoff there is a doctor who wrote in an article about people who want to go plant based but are having a hard time getting rid of the products they are attached to.
Her response?
Great! Keep the little you can’t live without and take out the rest. Something is better than nothing.
I love this viewpoint! Now I know many are not ready to take the full step into eating healthier by going full plant based so let’s start small.
Can you dedicate one day a week to go meat free? How about, let’s say, meatless Monday?
By eating more plants and less meat you are allowing your body to catch up with digestion and flush yourself with the vitamins and nutrient dense antioxidants plants bring to the table.
What do you say? Who’s in?

1) Eat healthy all day today

15 squats
15 jumping jacks
3-5 rounds, ready go!
3) feed your mind today
podcast, motivational video, meditate, breath technique through Wim Hoff, or any other way you feed yourself positivity and light.
Check off the list as you go but make sure to get all three in today, let's start the week off strong!

Had a long weekend and still feeling it? Detox your system with a veggie overload. My full recipe is in stories and highlight but you can change whatever you need to to use what you have at home. This salad is more about cleaning your system with veggies than it is about a pretty looking salad at a party.
Pro tip: add some croutons or a little bit of cheese to your salad. Yes, it’s not the “healthiest” pieces to the salad BUT life is about balance. If you can find a balance for YOU between healthy food and junk (I.e. croutons and cheese) then you’re much more likely to keep eating healthy, and that’s what we want.
