Ladies, if this doesn’t convince you, I don’t even know what will.

Check out these InBody scans. And these are just a couple from our last round.

We are losing body fat and gaining muscle, while the scale is barely telling the story.

Both of these women have changed their body composition. This is true body recomposition happening.

And I’m seeing it outside of the scans too.

More definition.
More shape.
More strength.

And no, they’re not perfect with nutrition every single day. They still go out. They still have drinks sometimes. They still have dinner and live normal lives.

But they are prioritizing protein, showing up, and staying consistent.

And here’s the part I really want you to think about…

It is JUST the beginning of September.

We still have September, October, November, and December to stack.

Four full months.

Look at the changes that can happen in just a few weeks.

Now imagine what can happen when you stack four months of consistency on top of each other.

Let’s finish this year strong.

Finish it strong with us.

And if you’ve followed me for a long time and you’re thinking, “Nope, Ashley’s workouts are too intense for me” — please know, this is nothing like the way I used to train groups. Nothing.

I’ve changed a lot over the years, and so has the way I coach.
You do not need to flip tires, do a million burpees, or be able to lift what I lift to train with me.
You just need to be willing to start where you are and get stronger from there.

I have 3 spots available in my 5:30am group if this makes you want in. đź’Ş

I keep telling you to TRACK YOUR MACROS, but some of you are probably sitting there thinking, “Okay Ash… HOW?”

So here you go.

This is the simple starting process I would use to figure out your own numbers.

You CAN do this!

And no, it doesn't have to be some random 1,200-calorie diet a calculator spits out.

Start with an estimated maintenance calorie intake.

Decide what the goal is.

Fat loss? Create a reasonable deficit.
Muscle building? Create a small surplus.
Maintaining/recomping? Stay around maintenance.

Then build your macros:

Protein first
Enough dietary fat
Carbs fill in the rest

Put those numbers into a tracking app and START TRACKING.

This is a starting point.

You track consistently, watch what your body does for a few weeks, and then adjust based on REAL DATA.

The calculator gives you an estimate.

Your body gives you the answer.

And once you understand this stuff, tracking really does become kind of a game.

If you have a goal, you need some kind of way to measure whether what you're doing is actually getting you there.Want to...

If you have a goal, you need some kind of way to measure whether what you're doing is actually getting you there.

Want to lose fat?
Track your macros.

Want to build muscle?
Track your macros.

Want to look more defined, get stronger, fuel your workouts better, or finally figure out why your body isn't changing?

Track. Your. Macros.

You don't have to do it forever. But tracking teaches you what you're actually eating... how much protein you're getting, what portions really look like, and whether you're consistently eating in a way that matches your goals.

Because “I eat pretty healthy” is great…
but healthy and goal-specific aren't always the same thing.

Stop guessing. Learn your numbers. Then adjust from there.

You track your money when you have a financial goal.
Why wouldn’t you track your nutrition when you have a body-composition goal?

This isn’t about being skinny, shredded or athletic.
It’s about HEALTH.

Our food, movement, sleep, strength, hydration, and daily habits affect so much more than what we see in the mirror.

Your brain and body are on the same team. Take care of both.

Which of these daily habits do you find hardest to prioritize when life gets busy?

Save this post to remind yourself on the tough days.
Share it with someone who needs a reminder to be kind to their body today.

When you raise your standards, you change your life.

Your standards are the things you decide are no longer negotiable.

How you speak to yourself.
How you care for your body.
What you tolerate.
What you prioritize.
What you follow through on.
What kind of life you are willing to settle for.

You stop relying on motivation and start living with discipline.
You create systems that leave less room for excuses.

You eat the foods that support you.
You prioritize your workouts.
You prioritize learning.
You begin wanting more for yourself, from your life, and from this entire human experience.

You also become willing to invest in the quality of your life.

Maybe that means buying better foods.
Joining a workout group.
Hiring a trainer or nutrition coach.
Learning a new skill.
Getting the support and accountability you need.

Not because you believe someone else can fix you, but because you have decided that becoming a healthier, stronger, happier version of yourself is worth your time, effort, and investment.

Somewhere along the way, you realize the most important weight you will ever lose has nothing to do with the scale.

It is the weight of fear.
The weight of other people’s expectations.
The weight of the habits, excuses, and beliefs that have kept you stuck.

You begin building the courage to do the things that move your life forward.

You also realize that your happiness is your responsibility.

People can love you, support you, encourage you, and walk beside you,but they cannot create your happiness for you. And you cannot create it for someone else.

That work has to come from within.

There is a different kind of happiness that comes from trusting yourself—from keeping your promises, following through, and becoming the person you said you wanted to be.

And while you cannot force the people you love to change, you can lead through your own actions.

You can show them what is possible.
You can become the example.
And you can hope the people who mean the most to you choose to come along, not just to live longer, but to create a better quality of life while they are here.
Raise your standards.
Invest in yourself.
Keep your promises.
Build a life that feels good

My girl Jackie
10 months ago, we started from square one.

No strength base. No experience under the bar. Just a goal to become stronger.

Fast forward 10 months...

She's now lifting:
205 lb Deadlift
175 lb Back Squat
285 lb Barbell Hip Thrust
105 lb Bench Press
Strict push-ups on her toes

She's 42 years old.

She trains with me three days a week for one hour.
She tracks her nutrition, gets her steps, drinks her water, and most importantly...she keeps showing up.

Progress like this doesn't happen overnight. It happens through hundreds of small decisions made consistently over time.

One workout.
One meal.
One rep.
One day at a time.

We've continued to learn, make adjustments, build on strengths, and keep moving forward. That's the process. Not chasing perfection, just getting a little better every week.

As a coach, this is why I love what I do. Watching someone become stronger, more confident, and realize they're capable of far more than they ever imagined is incredibly rewarding.

I'm so proud of everything you've accomplished over the last 10 months.

And the best part?
We're just getting started. đź’Ş

And she deserved this long shoutout!

Every day that I choose something hard over something easy...
is another day I keep a promise to myself.

Consistency is one of the highest forms of self-respect.

Whether it's dialing in your nutrition, hitting your mileage, or finishing that last set of squats, every choice is a vote for the person you're becoming.

How you do one thing is often how you do everything.

Let's get after it today. Which hard did you choose?

🚨 STOP FEARING CARBS. 🚨

We've been told that "sugar is bad."

Been there.

Cut that.

But...

Then I grew up and learned a thing or two...

Allow me to get nerdy with you here for a second.

When you lift weights, run, or do any high-intensity exercise, your body relies heavily on glycogen, the stored form of glucose (sugar) inside your muscles.

Think of glycogen as your muscle's gas tank.

If the tank is low, your workouts usually feel harder. You fatigue sooner, performance drops, and recovery can suffer.

Does that mean you should eat unlimited sugar? Of course not.

Personally, I build the majority of my diet around whole, minimally processed foods. I also try to keep my added sugars around 25 grams per day. That doesn't mean I fear carbohydrates, it means I choose quality foods most of the time while still fueling my training.

Context matters.

Carbs aren't the enemy. Overeating and inactivity are what lead to weight gain over time, not simply eating carbohydrates.

If your goal is to build muscle, get stronger, or perform better, don't be afraid to fuel your body for the work you're asking it to do.

What's your favorite pre-workout carb? Let me know below!
