One further note worthy of mention. Our Tom Maynard had a brilliant shoot at 900 (50-7v) to lead ALL shooters in the Australia Match. Huzzah!

The team has returned to our homes, with the BC contingent arriving last. Top shooters in the Australia Match for Canada were: Stefan Isaacs (187-11v), Paul Dudzinski (187-9v), and Tom Maynard (183-15v). Shooters persevered through one minor squall at the 600 yd line and a match-interrupting downpour at the 1000yd line.

It is travel day for the team. We return to Canada on several flights. The poor Aussie team had to be at the airport at 4am for a 7am flight. We leave the hotel at 12 for a 3pm flight as do our friends the British team. Just enough time for us to make a solid breakfast and pack properly.

Sorry for the long delay. It was s long day yesterday, shooting all four ranges. There were two rainy sessions, a squall that came through at 600yds and a torrential downpour at 1000 which suspended the match for fifteen to twenty minutes. Team GB finished first, Australia second, a combined and quite strong West Indies team third, and we finished fourth. But we did show the flag in the Caribbean and shot quite well at 900 and 1000. Team reception and prize giving tonight at the Barbados museum. More photos as soon as we collect them from all the cameras and edit.
