In November Lindsay and I took on the Glen Affric Kintail Way route as a bikepacking adventure. It was just after a dusting of high snow, so we had the most stunning scenery. The route itself was phenomenal, but not as easy as may be anticipated! It got a little interesting at the end!

Lindsay found out about the www.scottiesbythesea.com art trail around our home county, Fife’s, coastline. She asked me how many of the 30 statues I thought we could reach in a day and I foolishly said “All of them” 😂

Lindsay planned a 140km route taking in all of the Scotties starting in Leven on the south coast and going all the way around the coastline taking in all the stunning beaches, beautiful fishing villages, and historic towns.

It was quite a stretch of the legs, but a brilliant challenge and we did it! Our own route even drew our own Scotty dog in the GPS tracker!

The Scotties are all sponsored by local businesses or organisations and the money raised goes to the Maggie's Centre, Dundee a great cause.

You never know what your next adventure might be, ours was an extremely colourful and fun one along the Fife Coast & Countryside Trust coast!
