[PREPARATION] ⚽📳 | | The Central Acornhoek Football Association has commenced preparations for the forthcoming 2026/27 season. Several new teams have expressed interest in participating in the Association’s flagship CAFA Men’s Promotional League and CAFA Under-15s Development League.

This will be the second season for the Association to implement an impressive local League football structure. CAFA remains one of the most well-organised local Leagues in the region.

Recently, Acornhoek City Football Club, the League champion, represented the Association in the inter-local promotional play-offs against other streams located within the Bushbuckridge north areas, marking a significant milestone for the region’s football development.

City will face off with the league winners from Mhlangano Football Association and Manyeleti Football Association. This marks a significant milestone for local football in our region.

[HISTORIC] 🏆👑 | | Acornhoek City Football Club has made history by becoming the inaugural champions of the Central Acornhoek Football Association (CAFA) 𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞.

This follows City’s 3 — 2 victory over Green Rangers Football Club at the Acornhoek Police Station Ground, thereby qualifying for the playoffs to compete for a spot to campaign in the SAFA Men’s Regional League in the 2026/27 season.

The SAFA Men’s Regional League was previously known as the SAB or Castle League. The date of the playoff contests will be announced in due course.
