- Prioritize protein over carbs
- Whole carbs, not processed carbs (potato instead of bread)

Having a quick & easy go-to lunch as part of your weekly meal prep is important to help you stay on track !

Try this delicious , protein packed tuna mayo with tomato, spinach, and cucumber on some fresh sourdough.




If building muscle is your goal this year, we have a few helpful tips for you ! 

1. Prioritize protein straight after training, but remember to add some carbohydrates as well to replace the glycogen used during training, while the protein is used to build and repair the muscle. 

2. Time your meals - make sure you are eating within 30 minutes of training to stop your body from being in a catabolic state. Whether it's a shake or a meal, make sure you are refueling after your training session! 

3. The weight you are lifting is important, but so is the time your muscles are under tension . Encorporate things like pause reps , 1 minute of consistent moving, and slow negatives to increase the time that your muscles are under tension.
