There is nothing quite like the bond of family, especially when it’s shared right out on the baseball diamond. Today, we are incredibly blessed to feature the De Jager family in our latest spotlight.

What an absolute joy it is to see Tiaan and his dad, Quinton sharing the field this season. They are officially on the same team, turning baseball into the ultimate father-son shared occasion. Watching them play and compete side by side is exactly what our club is all about. ⚾

The talent doesn’t stop there! Liza recently tried out with our ladies’ team and did absolutely fantastic. Plus, with another family member having just joined the club, the De Jager baseball legacy keeps growing. We can’t wait to grab an updated photo of this incredible crew next time they are all at the fields! 📸

At Stars, family is everything, and the Grieves have baseball running right through their veins… and are this weeks spotlight!

actually grew up playing for the Alberton Astros, so he’s been a part of our local baseball history from the very start. Today, he’s still giving back to the game by coaching our juniors, while his sons, Conner and Kyle, carry on the legacy and putting absolute heart and passion into every single game they play.

We’re so incredibly proud to have Ashley, Conner, and Kyle as part of our Stars family…. And Chantelle and our resident dog supporter Gheko 🐶

A whole lot of love and baseball on Sundays is all you need. ❤️⚾️
