🏃 Amanzimtoti parkrun - 30th May 2026 🏃

Perfect conditions down at the promenade on Saturday morning!

The beach sand was firm and fast which resulted in A PB of PBs! ....in other words; we had an insane amount of Personal Bests which included a young man Langa (15-17yo category) who was the first over the finish line. And of course there 223 other winners that turned up for a great day aswell!

Amanzimtoti Parkrun - 23rd May 2026 🌊

What an absolutely beautiful morning down at the promenade! 🌅

Some highlights for us were;

1. Jonathan TEMPIES, Thamsanqa NZAMA and Mpumelelo SIMELANE all trying to chase down the mighty veteran Daniel SWART for 4th place! Who all finished within 4 seconds of each other. I LOVE a good sprint finish!! The timekeepers were almost wiped out.

2. Also whislt scanning results I noticed Ayesha BEHR who did her second ever parkrun!! Shes in the 11-14 year old age group, she did a PB and......... she was the FIRST FEMALE OVER THE LINE! Looks like we have a little legend in the making here - GO GIRL!! 💃

We had a fantastic turnout this week and many visitors decided on getting sand in their shoes too! Maybe unplanned? 😅 But welcome regardless!
