ur tournaments consist of a qualifier round (when applicable), after which the participants are split into different divisions of up to 8 players per division. Knockout rounds follow, with playoffs for 3rd, 5th and 7th position in all divisions. This means that nobody gets knocked out early, and everyone plays more or less the same number of games against different opponents. The winners of all divisions get a free entry into only the next week's event. Men pay R50, Ladies pay only R30! Of this entry fee, a portion goes towards the prize pot. Once a month, the top players are invited to an Invitational event, where the prize pot is split between all of them. The players that do not qualify for the invitational play a Plate Division on the same date. There is no special dress code... come the way you feel comfortable. NO SUPERSTARS WARNING: Because of the SOCIAL status of these events, no provincial or regional league players are allowed to enter. Come give it a bash! You won't be sorry you did!
