LEFT HAND. DIFFERENT ANGLE. BIG ADVANTAGE. 🤽‍♀️🤽‍♂️

Today, 13 August, we celebrate International Left-Handers Day — and in water polo, being left-handed can bring a whole different dimension to the game.

From creating unexpected passing options and opening up new shooting angles to keeping defenders guessing, our left-handed players bring something special to the pool.

To all the left-handed players, coaches and officials in our water polo community — we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate the difference you bring to the game.

LEFT HANDED. LEFT SIDED. GAME CHANGERS.

🌹 Happy Women’s Day from Eastern Gauteng Schools Water Polo! 🌹

Today is about recognising the women who give so much to our sport — often behind the scenes, sometimes poolside, and always making a difference.

To every player who gives her all, mom who gets them to training, coach who develops them, referee who keeps the game moving, manager who makes it all happen, teacher who opens doors, administrator who keeps the wheels turning, volunteer who gives their time, and supporter who is always in the stands — we see you, we appreciate you and we celebrate you.

Women play an important role in creating the environment in which our young athletes can learn, compete, grow in confidence and discover what they are capable of.

Here’s to the women who show up, speak up, lead, encourage and make a difference.

Happy Women’s Day!
With appreciation from Eastern Gauteng Schools Water Polo 🌹

At Eastern Gauteng Schools Water Polo, we are committed to developing every athlete to reach their full potential—both in and out of the pool.

The U13 Winter League is about so much more than results. It’s about creating opportunities for young players to gain valuable match experience, build confidence, develop their skills and foster a lifelong love for the game.

Every pass, every goal and every smile reflects the progress being made. Watching our players grow in confidence, support one another and embrace the spirit of the game is what makes this league so special.

Together, we are building strong players, stronger clubs and an even brighter future for water polo in Eastern Gauteng.
