Birelart wins the first round of the South African National Championship in DD2.
1st , 4th & 7th for the Birelart karts in Cape Town on the 26th & 27th March 2021.
Sebastian Boyd #69 took two firsts and a second place to secure the overall win .
Joey Oelz #11 finished 4th overall after a huge tussle at the front of the field.
Jamie Smith #33 came away with a 7th overall despite showing good pace.

The Birelart drivers will be in action again at the 2nd round of the national series on the 24th and 25th of April @ FK Benoni.

First race of the year at Idube 7th February 2021 produced some interesting racing.
First of all in Max masters , Eric Marzoppi #346 was the overall winner of the day with a 3rd and 2 race wins after coming from the back with a reverse grid format.
Eric was the class ot the day with pole position and the fastest lap in every heat showing how strong he and the Birelart are in this class.
The DD2 class produced nail-biting racing with several of the countries top competitors. After the 3 heats Jamie Smith #33 finished 2nd overall with two 2nd places and a third.
The inaugural KZ2 class race featured Brent Walden #55 & Shrien Naidoo #11 finishing 2nd & 3rd respectively. The class is expected to grow throughout the season and will no doubt produce some exciting racing.
In Senior max , Daniella Marzoppi #234 had an interesting race day. After overcoming a few setup challenges in the morning, Daniella was unfortunately flipped in her kart by another competitor putting a damper on the days results. We expect to see her back at the front at the next race.

Northern regions rotax , round 5 , 31st August 2019.
Birelart and Ricciardo dominate with the top 4 positions in the DD2 class. Justin Allison #52 finished in top place with 1 win and 2 second places followed closely behind by Brandon Smith #43 in the Ricciardo and Jamie Smith #33 with 1 win each.
Jamie consistently had the fastest lap in every race and was unfortunate not to take the overall result for the day after being hit from behind while in the lead in race 3.
Anton Pommesheim #31 showed a huge improvement in the NBR Birelart finishing 4th overall for the day.
Well done to all the drivers for exciting racing and a clear consistent top finish.
The drivers will be in action again at the final round of the national championship at Zwartkops kart circuit on the 20th till 22nd September.
