When I bought this boat the pontoons were recently redone, but I soon realised it was not done by a reputable repairer, as the seams of the back cones started to become undone.

I also tried to fix it the “cheap” way which almost ended in disaster on the last day of my recent holiday at Van der Kloof dam, when the one pontoon started filling with water.

I had to redo the pontoons to prevent having a big, expensive paperweight on a trailer. This time I went to reputable repairer, Buccaneer Inflatables in Benoni, which fitted my boat with thermo-bonded pontoons.

It was not a cheap exercise, but some of the best money I have spent!

Also, now it looks like a fishing boat 🎣 and not the po-po 🚨👮🏻‍♂️
