5 LITTLE LIVES LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES 🐱
A little over a year ago, three tiny kittens appeared at Formula-K. They had somehow made their way underneath one of our containers, scared, wild and completely unsure of people.
Nancy, Bella and Tigger have become part of our little Formula-K family. They keep the rodents and other unwanted visitors under control, and in return, they get food, water and a safe place to call home.
Nancy has since been spayed, but unfortunately Bella had already fallen pregnant.
And now we have FIVE tiny little kittens. 🐾
They are currently only about 4 weeks old, so they still have a lot of growing to do. But once they are old enough to leave their mom, we want to find them loving, responsible forever homes.
The reason we are looking for homes for them is not because we don't want them. A racetrack is simply not a safe place for five curious little kittens to grow up.** With cars, karts, trailers and people constantly moving around, there is a very real risk of them being hurt or even run over once they start exploring.
And if we simply leave them here, the cycle will continue. Five kittens become adult cats, more kittens arrive, and before long we have even more cats trying to survive around an active racetrack.
We also don't want to simply hand them over to a shelter and hope for the best. We want to know that these little babies are going somewhere safe, where they will be loved, looked after and treated as part of the family.
We also want to make sure that this is where the cycle ends.
Bella, their mom, will be spayed as soon as she has finished nursing and it is safe for her to do so.** Nancy has already been spayed, and we will continue doing what we can to make sure the cats who remain at Formula-K don't continue producing unwanted litters.
These kittens will only be available for adoption once they are eating independently, tame enough to safely handle, and ready to leave their mom.** I will post updated photos and information closer to the time.
