Congratulations to all coaches who attended the SAFA D Licence Coaching Courses held from 08–14 April 2026 and 20–26 April 2026.
✅ Your certificates are now ready for collection at the SAFA Ekurhuleni Regional Office.
We are also pleased to report that progress is being made on the issuance of CAF C Diploma Certificates, as the Coaches Education Department continues to work hard to clear the backlog.
Thank you for your patience, commitment to football development, and for sharing our vision of growing the game through coach education.

SAFA Ekurhuleni was well represented at the SAFA National Congress. Against all smear campaigns aimed at creating divisions, we remain united and committed to building an even stronger Region and stronger Local Football Associations.

We continue to lead in Coaches Education, and from 20–27 June 2026 we will proudly host the CAF C Licence course. We are also satisfied with the progress made by CAF and SAFA regarding the issuing of Coaches Diplomas.

Our Junior Regional League continues to grow from strength to strength, while the Women’s Regional League continues to show growth, accountability, and development. The men and women of this Region are working tirelessly to improve football and strengthen the Region for future generations.

Those who continue to spread negativity and sponsor misleading social media publications will not succeed.

The truth will always prevail over lies, division, and misinformation. United in purpose, we continue to serve football with integrity, accountability, and faith.

⚽ Against any attempt to destabilize football development, we remain stable, united, and focused on the mandate of growing the game across all 15 Local Football Associations in the Region.
Like all organizations, we go through different seasons, but our commitment to football development remains firm and progressive. 💪
We are proud to confirm that Thokoza, Boksburg, and Central have been approved to host the D Licence courses. The Region will further host the CAF C Licence, while the anticipated CAF B Licence is expected to take place in November.
Let it be placed on record that the delayed issuing of CAF C certificates was resolved by both Confederation of African Football and South African Football Association, and no Region was responsible for the delay.
We further welcome and appreciate the work done through the appointment of the Technical Director (TD) and the Head of Coaches Education as part of strengthening football development structures in the Region.
We encourage all our members, stakeholders, and football communities to remain focused and continue supporting the gains being achieved in football development. Let us not allow ourselves to be distracted by unnecessary politics, but remain united in advancing the beautiful game for the benefit of all. ⚽🇿🇦

It is truly an honour and a blessing to witness our young people, developed and groomed through SAFA Ekurhuleni, making remarkable strides within the SAFA National structures. Their growth reflects the power of hard work, guidance, and opportunity. Most importantly, lives are being changed, dreams are becoming reality, and the future of football is in good hands.

Recognition appreciated, but the mission continues. South African Football Association Ekurhuleni remains committed to excellence in coach education and football development.
