We are incredibly proud to welcome Marizelle van den Berg as the newest Stampede Leather Brand Ambassador!
At just 15 years old, Marizelle has already established herself as one of KwaZulu-Natal's most exciting young Western Mounted Games athletes. Her passion, determination, sportsmanship, and fearless riding style make her a perfect fit for the Stampede Leather family.
Alongside her incredible Arabian mare, Rihani, Marizelle has built a partnership based on trust, dedication, and countless hours of training. Together, they embody everything Western Mounted Games is about—partnership, precision, speed, and teamwork.
🏆 2025 National Championship Highlights
🐎 Competed in the Level 3 Junior Girls division at the Western Mounted Games National Championships.
🏅 Finished 21st out of 55 riders nationally.
🚩 Achieved an incredible 2nd place in Flags out of 55 riders.
🔥 Recorded five Level 4 qualifying times across the 12 national events—an outstanding achievement that showcases her talent and rapid progression in the sport.
As Marizelle continues her journey towards future regional and national success, we are honoured to stand beside her and support her every step of the way.
We can't wait to see what the future holds for this talented young rider and her amazing partner, Rihani.
