It's back to school for our children and guess what, they are already busy with athletics as their sports programme begins for 2016. Let's give them all the support they need from us as their sisters, brothers, moms and dads. Remembe being active in Sports Promotes a Healthy Lifestyle.
It's never too early to start a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise. Teenagers who play a sport are already starting a habit of exercise that increases the chances they will continue it throughout adulthood.

Parents, please let's support our children to be more active in Sports in 2016.
Participating in Sports irrespective of the level at which it occurs, provides challenges and adventures and has many important benefits. It can unite people, can build self respect, self esteem, can enhance leadership capabilities, it can fill emptiness. So please parents let's play our role in making sure that our children are participating in school sport.

Student-athletes scores higher on developmental assets compared to students who do not participate in school sport.

Parents who participated in school sport by encouraging and supporting their children themselves believe the experience helped them develop important life skills.
