Fitness is so important to singers. Apart from being physically fit, it also takes a lot of training and dedication to combine breathing control while acting out on stage. Pink is an absolute expert!! Definitely one of my idols!!

BREATHING is so important in being able to use the voice effectively. Often when the song you are singing is fast, one might tend to try singing too many phrases one after another, too fearful of taking a breath just in case you lose your timing. The problem is, that you then sound tight and strained, which would also put strain on the vocal cords. Breathing when you should would help keep the voice flexible and sounding relaxed.
