🏉 TITANS RUGBY ACADEMY – MORE THAN 2 DECADES OF BUILDING CHAMPIONS 🏉

From humble beginnings to producing some of South Africa’s finest rugby talent, Titans Rugby Academy’s player pathway continues to be a story of passion, perseverance and purpose.

Over the past 21 years, Titans has helped transform dreams into reality. From our first Springbok, Mathrin Simmers - , who went on to become South Africa’s most decorated Springbok Sevens player of all time, to Siphenathi Yeko, a proud product of White Location, Knysna, who recently lifted the Africa Cup and made her Springbok debut, the journey has been nothing short of inspirational.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that it was built with little to no external financial support. For more than two decades, fundraising initiatives and the personal sacrifices and financial commitment of Coach Ash have kept the dream alive, creating opportunities for talented young players who otherwise may never have had a pathway to elite rugby.

Today, Titans Rugby Academy stands as proof that dedication, community spirit and unwavering belief can overcome any obstacle.

Good day Coaches & Players,

We have received correspondence from the Free State Rugby Union this morning confirming that the EXCO has decided not to combine the U16 & U18 Girls Development Clinic with the Spartans Women's Rugby Club & Titans Rugby Academy Coaching Clinic.

The two development clinics will therefore be held separately, with no association between them.

Free State Rugby Union Clinic
Time: 10:00 – 12:00
This clinic is strictly for U16 and U18 girls. For more information, please contact Coach Sammy. We encourage all eligible players to attend in numbers and support the Free State Rugby Union event.

Spartans Women's Rugby Club & Titans Rugby Academy Development Clinic
Time: 13:00 – 16:00
Players will be provided with a light meal at 13:00 before the session begins.

Please note that we will unfortunately not be able to provide transport for this clinic. However, refreshments will be available for all attending players.

The *SuperSport Phaka TV crew will be present from 13:00 and will be broadcasting the Spartans & Titans Development Clinic.

As part of our Legacy Programme, we will also be handing over playing kit and training equipment sponsored by Hollywood Bets to Spartans Women’s Rugby Club to enable them to strengthen their School Girls Rugby Program. This initiative aims to strengthen and grow the partnership, with future plans to expand into our schools’ girls pathway programmes.

The Spartans & Titans clinic is open to all girls from ages 12 through to seniors.

We look forward to welcoming all of you to the event starting at 13:00.
