After 19 incredible years in Bloemfontein, we regret to announce that Cheetah Paintball & Airsoft has closed its doors as an active field and venue.

This was not an easy decision. Over nearly two decades, we’ve shared unforgettable moments, intense games, laughter, friendships, and a shared passion for the sport with an amazing community. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to every player, supporter, sponsor, and staff member who supported us throughout the years. Your support truly meant everything to us.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to our suppliers, especially Fuad and the team from R&S Traders, for your loyalty, outstanding service, and continued support over the years. Your contribution played a vital role in our journey.

Our shop will remain open for the time being, and we will continue supplying paintball and airsoft equipment, consumables, and spares.

So this is a post I have been dreading to write for the last couple days as it truly breaks my heart.

Double Tap will be retiring indefinitely.

Over the last 7+ years the team has worked hard to become a top team and it really is sad that it has to end this way but unfortunately life happens.

With most of our Core players moving on with other ventures, it is very difficult running a Challengers team without the added pressure of training new members and getting the vibe of a good working team.

Most of the guys will be moving to other teams and will FINALLY get the chance to shoot each other 😛

To my team, Ant, Jason, Tiny, Liam, Chuck, Crispin, Christian and Jakes. It has been a absolute honor stepping onto the field with you, hoping not to get shot off the break or shooting someone "by accident". I love you all and it will not be forgotten what you have done for the team and the truly awe inspiring moments we had together.

I want to say thank you to each player, guest player, supporter, and sponsor for all the help over the years. YOU made us the players we are today and I would gladly walk onto a field with you behind me.

Personally I want to thank Ridwaan Ismail, Fuad Yusuf, Brett Steyn and the Entire Blades and Triggers team for always going out of your way to accommodate us with the best gear and paint and all of our insanity, having great conversations off the field and just giving in to our every whim and desire.

To the teams that worked with us all the way, All Stars, Apocalypse, DNX, Wolverines and Legacy (just a few I can think of) and all the other BnT teams that stepped on the field and allowing us to learn and teach each other.

We truly hope that our name will live on and I am truly sure that the DT jersey will still be seen every now and again. 😄
