Wix-Origen CRT is proud to welcome Michael Howard to the team!

Michael joins us with extensive experience in race car preparation, race day support, race car maintenance, and trailer reconditioning and maintenance. His knowledge and practical expertise will play an important role in supporting our racing programme both at the workshop and at the circuit.

As part of the continued growth of Wix-Origen CRT, we're also excited to offer these services to fellow competitors, race teams, and motorsport enthusiasts. Whether you need race car preparation, ongoing maintenance, race day support, or trailer repairs and refurbishment, we've got the experience and passion to help keep you on track.

Hard-Fought GTB Podium After a Wild Race Day

Friday practice ran flawlessly and gave us great confidence heading into Saturday, where we qualified 2nd in GTB with three heats ahead.

Heat 1 delivered a strong 2nd in class, after narrowly avoiding a big moment with Jared Rossouw down the back straight.

Heat 2 threw us a curveball when a gear linkage clip dislodged, leaving us with only 3rd and 5th gear. Somehow, we dragged it to the line for 3rd in GTB, just 0.3 seconds behind our good mate Shaun Holtshausen.

Heat 3 started with chaos as Shaun went completely sideways out of Turn 3, forcing us off track and dropping us to stone-cold last in 27th. From there, it was head down and elbows out, fighting back to 14th overall and 3rd in class.

The result: 2nd overall in GTB for the day.

The on-track battles were fierce, the racing was proper, and the pace is there. Now we just need to place ourselves better at the next round, stay clear of the madness, and go chase that gold!
