The route is challenging, adventurous, a little nerve wracking at times and will leave your passengers speechless as you challenge yourself and your vehicle to its limits. The trail consists of one route marked with green arrows. The more challenging sections are marked with red arrows. For the drivers not brave enough, there is a ‘chicken run’ so no need to stress. The views are endless and when you take a pit-stop you can just relax and inhale the fresh Overberg air. The route is approximately 12.5 Km long and should take you around 3 hours to complete. Honingklip offers drivers an Obstacle Course, where you can practice your skills before attempting the route in totality. No drinking of alcohol is permitted while driving the route, believe me you do need your wits about you at some stages.
