BACK A BUDDY IN MEMORY OF RUSSEL.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Russel, a lifelong Action Cricket player, teammate, and friend to many within the sporting community.

While many of us may not have had the privilege of knowing Russel personally, we know that he was loved by his teammates, family, and friends, and that his loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Russel's funeral will take place next Friday, and his loved ones would greatly appreciate any contribution towards the funeral expenses during this difficult time. No donation is too small, and every contribution will help ease the financial burden on his family.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Russel's family, friends, teammates, and everyone whose lives he touched.

Since 1988, Brackenfell Action Sports Arena has proudly stood on the same premises, creating memories, friendships, champions, and a place our community can call home. As the oldest Action Sports Arena in the country, this old girl has seen a lot over the years, and we're excited to give her a well-deserved new lease on life.

Over the past year, you may have noticed some exciting improvements around the arena:

• Brand-new front nets
• Brand-new top nets
• Brand-new back nets now installed
• New international-standard playing carpets
• More than 80 additional parking bays
• New cooling fans to keep players and spectators comfortable
• Additional shading at our braai area
• Also the fantastic addition of Hennies Brackenfell at our entrance, bringing even more energy and atmosphere to the arena
• Another great bonus of playing at Brackenfell is having your favourite restaurants and takeaways: Hennies, Spur, Panarottis, KFC, Steers, Debonairs and McDonald's, right on our doorstep.

These upgrades are all part of our commitment to creating the best possible experience for our players, supporters, families, and visitors.

Most importantly, none of this would be possible without YOU. Thank you for your loyalty, support, and trust in our arena throughout the years. Every improvement we make is an investment in the people who make this place special.

What a season for Samurias. 🏏

It wasn’t always easy, we had our ups and downs but this team showed real character when it mattered most. I couldn’t be prouder of the fight, commitment, and heart the boys brought every single game. 🔥

Walking away with silver is something to be proud of. Thank you to every player for trusting the process and giving it your all, and to our supporters for standing behind us all season.
