In Vegas, every arrow counts. Do you have the nerve to step up to the line when the stakes are real? We are bringing the heat to Brackenfell for a high-stakes weekend where precision meets pressure.
THE LOADOUT
* THE WHEN: Saturday, 08 – Sunday, 09 August 2026

* THE CHALLENGE: 1 Day | 2 Rounds | 600 Points
* THE STAKES: Intense elimination rounds to crown the ultimate champion.
To ensure every archer gets the spotlight, we are splitting the field per division across the weekend:

Looking for something to do over a weekend, this is what we do and what we need,
Components needed:
1. Frame Sides: 2x 40x 250x 1m pine timber plank sides
2. Target Core: 120x 6-10mmx 250, 1m skin cut (inners)
2. Compression Rods: 4x 12mm threaded bar
3. Fasteners: 4x 12mm nuts
4. Washers: 4x 12mm washers
Tools You’ll Need
a. Drill & 14mm Drill Bit: (Slightly larger than the 12mm bar for an easier fit).
b. Two Spanners/Wrenches: To tighten the 12mm nuts against each other.
c. Measuring Tape & Pencil: For layout.
d. Optional: A saw (if the timber isn't pre-cut) and a mallet/hammer.
Quick Build Notes
Frame Up: Put your frame together (timber and rods)
The "Stack": You will sandwich the 120 skin cuts between the two thick pine planks.
The Compression: The threaded bars run through the corners of the top and bottom side planks. As you tighten the nuts, the skin cuts compress to create a solid surface.
Pro Tip: If you want the target to last longer outdoors, consider using galvanized hardware to prevent rusting.
Maintenance Tip
Over time, the center of the target (the "gold") will get shot out. Because this is a compression target, you can simply loosen the nuts, swap the chewed-up middle slats with fresh ones from the left or right side, and tighten it back up!
