Brackenfell Shotokan Karate Academy is proud to celebrate an outstanding performance at the TORA School Sport Karate & Kobudo Challenge, held on 18 April 2026 at the Brackenfell Town Hall.

This exciting championship was the first official School Sport Karate & Kobudo League event in the Western Cape and marked a historic new chapter for martial arts within the school sport environment.

The event was proudly hosted by Neko Bellville South NWS from the New World Shotokan Federation (NWS). 👏

The organisers of the 2026 WUKF South African National Championships & Afro-Asia Open are looking forward to welcoming Sensei Rishi Bundhoo and his Federation from Mauritius to our annual celebration of WUKF karate and kobudo. This will be the first time a Mauritian Team (Shotokan Martial Arts Federation) will be attending the Championships. We wish them all the best in their final preparations and travels.
