It's ben 8 Months since my last info post or pictures of anysorts.... Eish, thats swak of me.... It has been a very interesting, and entertaining last 8 months....Lots of highs, and indeed, plently of lows and lows, and equipment setup changing, not to mention equipment issues right in the middle of a competition.....

The year did get off on a good note, and its always great to be on the range oudoors.. My focus for this season, has been primarly IFAA field, and Ifaa 3D, as its the 2 formts that i really enjoy.

I have had to really juggle my shooting schedule based around the demanding hours of work, Some,if not many a friday standby night, turn into arrive at competition range in work overals, and climb straight into shooting. I have some really good tournaments, and ive also had some that id rather forget. But in wanting to forget those blunderous tournaments, one tends to forget the valuable lessons that come through with them...... One set obstacle, i have had to overcome, is the lack of being able to practice, and when i have had the time to get to a range to practice, it has ended up being that my warm up arrows on competition day, are now becoming the norm for my practices arrows. I can fault that work is the main cause, but i cant fault work, as it brings food to the table, and lets me enter into some fantastic competitions, and get to experiance some brilliant range setups.. From winning last yeas SANIFFA 3D nationals, i have set my focus, all these tournaments, as the WBHC is next year, and that is any archers dream of being able to attend.

Plus not to mention, we have aquired 2 new pets in the flat, and they are ruling the household. One tends to forget that, all the time spent shooting comps, and working to yourself to tiresome entity, one has a tendancy to loose the fundementals of any ground work, and that is family. I am so very fortunate to have 2 wonderfull pillars of strength that have seen, been, gone through, and witnessed everything that has taken its toll. Without that id truly be lost and at the mercy of defeat, both mentally and physically. Ja ek weet ek is harde werk, maar ek is baie hard op myself op proef vir perfeksie... I share the fields of battle with an outsatnding bunch of fellow weirdo's who think shooting arrows is the beez neez... And yet it is the BEEZ Neez... We all deal with our issues in our own way, and find that our comunity of archers, is really a great circle of true close friends. We have also lost a few archers along the way, and may the eternaly RIP, and fly true on there arrows forever more.

Then this idiot, goes and looses all the last photos of the last few months, in a complete phone factory reset....Ja, lank clever. so these that are up now, are form the last IFAA 3d... One more to go in September, and then its Nationals in October. Certain things are going to be put in place, and work is one of them. Sructured around... A big thanks to Tony's Custom Bowstrings, and Carbon core Arrows, for keeping the faith in my pursuit. The scores are there, and im on the prowl to strive in reataining my Title....
