Spending hours in a flexed cycling position =
β Tight hip flexors
β Overworked TFLs
β Shortened hamstrings
β Stiff lower back
When youβre bent over the handlebars for long periods, your hips stay in constant flexion. Over time those muscles adapt by shortening β and thatβs when the niggles start creeping in.
